Come along on September 5th to celebrate the launch of the High St Collaboration Beer at Tallboy and Moose!

Times are tough for live indie music venues, and finding a gig as a musician can be a hard gig in itself.

But on 5 September, four Melbourne venues are joining forces at Tallboy & Moose to make a bit more noise.

As part of Darebin’s multi-arts FUSE Festival, Tallboy & Moose, Shotkickers, Cafe Gummo and Bar303 are teaming up for a day of free live local music at Tallboy & Moose.

The idea is simple: discover some excellent local artists, support the venues that give them somewhere to play, and make a day of it.

And because solidarity is better with beer, the four venues have also come together to brew a special High Street collaboration beer right here at Tallboy & Moose. We’ll be launching it on the day.

Entry is free. The music will be live and loud. The beer will be flowing.

The flash tattoos are walk-in only. First in, first inked. If you've got your eye on a design, get down early, put your name on the list, then have a beer while you wait for your turn under the needle.

The taps will be pouring, the kitchen will be firing, and we've got a few dark little surprises lined up for the day.

Another post about our friends Shotkickers because yes, these guys genuinely do a lot to support the local live music (and beer) scene.

This Saturday they've got a killer lineup in partnership with PBS 106.7FM . Get your ticket, then get on down early! They've just launched their 'Support the Supports' initiative, which means pints are just $8 until the first band wraps up.

We love beer, so we know Dry July can be... a challenge. Lucky there's some bloody good non-alc options around these day...

We've always got a solid range of alcohol-free beers from our friends at Hop Nation Brewing Co. , sparkling and spirits if you're taking a break, cutting back or just not drinking.
