Viking Imports has relaunched the popular Sourdough Rye Crispbread from Finland Fazer Crisp with a fresh new look and two new flavours to boot. The crispiest crisps, these have been designed to make your chosen toppings pop with that signature crunch and traditional, hearty Nordic taste.
The new Fazer Crisp products are available in four varieties that each crunch with their signature crispy sound: Rye, Dark Rye, Rye & Rosemary and Rye & Roasted Pepper.
Rye
It’s the OG for a reason: The iconic rye crispbread embodies the frigid water and salt of Finland and is a Nordic flavour that’s transcended continents and generations because it’s just that good. What better way to enjoy such a rich flavour than to balance it with some fresh toppings like prosciutto, mozzarella and cherry tomatoes with basil. You can even keep it simple for the kids with smear of peanut butter or however Vegemite your heart desires.
Dark Rye
Bolder, darker and sweeter than the original, once you try Dark Rye, you won’t go back. The intense, full-bodied rye flavour is developed over several hours of baking and is a key flavour of the Nordic region. It pairs perfectly with some smashed avo and a poached egg for a brunch fave… toast who?
Rye & Rosemary
Our love for rye grows wherever rosemary goes, and nobody knows rye like Fazer Crisp. This classic herb is the perfect complement of fragrance and freshness to the already tasty and earthy rye. But don’t let the delicate taste fool you, these crispbreads still crunch just as boldly. Pair it with whipped ricotta, blackberries and a drizzle of honey for a sweet snack.
Rye & Roasted Pepper
The sweetness of roasted pepper tastes like it was made just to accompany rye – they pair so perfectly together.
