Well we made it through customs just🤦‍♀️Joel got sent back to take his boots off, I look over and Geoffs legs are spread getting patted down. All I could hear was Geoff saying, buy me a drink and you can pat me any where. I finally get through and asked the guy for my bag please, he said can you come with me please mam. THE STORY OF BOB THE BASTARD
21 years ago the boys and Geoff went far away to pick up a motorcycle and parts. Amylee and I we went to Kurri pound ( which doesn’t exist anymore) to get granny a grey kitten. Nobody told me that you had to walk past all the dogs to get to cats🤣😂🤦‍♀️Well there’s Bob with a sign on his gate saying last day, Amylee crying saying we can’t let him die!!! So rung Geoff and told him about this dog they estimated him to be at least 8, he was fully grown, and I thought let him live his life out with us. and how clever he was, smoking a cigar while rolling on top of a ball. I think the answer was whatever. So $500 to get desexed and needles. So picked him up next day and came home. There wasn’t a day he never ran away, fought every dog no matter there size, everyone knew who Bob The Bastard was. I told him everyday, that there was a reason he was in the pound😂🤣Peed up everything to mark his territory. Dad use to say he’d p*e on you, if you stood long enough. Ran away from boys one day and went into the big dam so they couldn’t get him, half way across he started sinking, they had to get in and save him. Anyone that’s been to our place has met Bob the bastard!!The older he got he stopped disliking us and went everywhere with Geoff doing farm work. He was fully grown when he came so even if we say he was 4 years old he’d would’ve been 25. He was like an everyready battery and went on and on. Boy we got our $500 worth of dog. His outlived at least6 of our other dogs, blind and deaf but pampered to the end😢💔

Huge huge day yesterday, Our last big thing to tick off the list FORTWORTH!! It did not disappoint, and we picked an excellent time to come when a heatwave was on🤣😂
We kicked off with the best uber driver yet at 9am, as soon as he he said he did construction work at night, I thought here we go, we solved all of Australia and Americas problems on the way to fortworth, of course guns came up he carries 2 in his uber. Don’t get in the car with strangers but jump in with one with guns😂🤣Honestly you feel safer in Texas than walking down Sydney . Anyway got into fortworth, he took us everywhere his mate does the long horns, so out the back we went, we went down streets that were in 1883 series, they covered streets with dirt to film, We know which buildings are used for landman, our own personal tour and he wasn’t charging, his partner is a vet and the lawyer in landman is into horses and has a lot to do with his partner. Sadly now drop off, you just spin around not knowing where to go first. So shop to shop until it was time for longhorns down the street, they didnt do an afternoon run due to heat. You could just people watch all day in their new outfits for the day😂
We had till 6pm that night to fill in before PBR. Had lunch at Coopers which was nice, smoked meat and whatever you wanted with it. Got to checkout to pay, she said cutlery and drinks over there and here’s your plate!!! Which was a piece of paper, I could hear my dad saying, can’t you afford bloody plates😂It was weird🤷‍♀️Then off to John Wayne museum.More shops and more things bought, into a bar to drink our last couple of hours before PBR. Sat under a tree watching 2 girls sing who were terrible. Then PBR time.
Back in another uber home, I hate awkward silence, so I started talking, he said my English isn’t good sorry. I said oh that’s ok. I could feel Geoff saying shut up Linda because it was him playing charades in the front 😂 but I didn’t and it was truely awkward
