Welcome Back! We hope all our families enjoyed their holidays and our students are well and truly refreshed for the new school year 🥳
We would also like to extend a warm welcome to our new kinders starting tomorrow 🥰 Exciting times ahead!
A few changes are happening this year in the Canteen:
• We have made slight adjustments to the Menu. Some items have been removed and there has been a small price increase to only a handful of products this year. These menus will be printed and sent home with all students over the coming days.
• We have quite an extensive menu, however we do understand that some kids require additional needs and have certain requests or may just be a fussy eater (we totally get it, we have a few of our own!). Please don't let this deter you, we are always open to suggestions and making every child feel inclusive and welcome at the Canteen 😊
• Cash payments over the counter are still available, but we also offer orders via text and paid via PayID. You must include your child's name, class, lunch order and RECEIPT NUMBER from payment made please. If an order is handed in or ordered via text with no money paid, your child will not receive their specified order, but will be provided with a fresh sandwich and a piece of fruit for lunch.
• Lunch Orders are due by 9am please. There are only 2 of us on a daily basis in the canteen, and on the odd day, may only be 1, so we run to a tight schedule to ensure your lunch is of quality and unfortunately late orders just interupt this. The later the lunch order, the less options you will have to choose from.
• EFT available. Please note however, the 1.9% surcharge/processing fee per transaction still applies.
• The banking system is still slowly being weaned out. Any cards that are not used frequently will be cancelled once funds have run out. This system is becoming hard to keep track of with so many rules and requirements from parents, especially on event days where additional staff are on. Also, it is very time consuming unfortunately having to chase up owed monies from families. Please note if there is no credit, there is no spending.
• Canteen will be open from 8.15am till 3.10pm, however students are required by the school to be seated in Pollard Place until 8.35am. On the odd occasion, we will close at the end of lunch at 2pm.
• We are excited to announce that there will be a new little addition to our family, coming May. This shouldn't distrupt too much within the Canteen, but we will update as the time gets closer if there are any temporary changes during this time ❤️
