🏆💜💚 OFFICIAL CLUB STATEMENT 💚💜🏆

Westlakes Wildcats FC is incredibly proud and honoured to announce that our canteen has officially been voted the NUMBER ONE CANTEEN in Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and Macquarie! 🥇

We would like to extend a massive thank you to the independent and highly respected judging panel at Westlakes Wildcats’ very own social media pages for recognising our outstanding achievements.

After what we can only assume was an extremely competitive selection process, we’re thrilled to have beaten every other canteen in the region.

While the judging criteria remain confidential, and no other clubs were consulted, we firmly believe this award reflects the hard work, dedication and passion of our wonderful canteen volunteers.

Some may question the legitimacy of an award we created, judged and presented to ourselves.

To those people, we simply say: check the trophy cabinet. 🏆

Congratulations to everyone involved in this historic achievement.

Westlakes Wildcats — officially the best, according to Westlakes Wildcats. 💜💚🐯

💜💚 THE FROG IS BACK FOR 2027! 🐸⚽

One of our fearless leaders from 2026 has decided to go around again, with Luke “Frog” Croquett officially re-signing with the Westlakes Wildcats for 2027!

Whether it's leading the boys at training, shaving his head to look like Eminem, or winning absolutely EVERY header that comes his way, Frog gives everything he's got for the purple and green!

A true leader on and off the pitch, Frog sets the standard with his commitment, passion and never-back-down attitude.

We're absolutely thrilled to have him back leading from the front as we head into another massive season!

WELCOME BACK, FROG! 🐸💜💚

💜💚 THANK YOU, WILDCATS FAMILY! 💚💜

A massive thank you to everyone who came down today and lent a hand at our Westlakes Wildcats cleanup day! 🐾

It’s amazing what we can achieve when we all come together, and days like today remind us just how lucky we are to be part of such a fantastic community.

From cleaning out the changerooms and canteen to sorting equipment and getting our facilities ready for another big year, every little bit of help makes a huge difference.

Our club is built on volunteers, families and people who genuinely care, and we couldn’t do it without you.

Westlakes Wildcats is more than just a football club. It’s a community, and we’re proud to be part of it! 💜💚

Thank you again to everyone who gave up their Sunday to help out!
