🏆 UNDER 15 GIRLS — PREMIERS & GRAND FINAL WINNERS! 🏆

What an incredible season from our Under 15 Girls!

After losing just ONE game all year, the girls headed into today’s Grand Final determined to finish the job — and they did exactly that with a hard-fought 1–0 victory!

Premiers. Grand Final Winners. What a season. 💜💚

We couldn’t be prouder of this group. The determination, teamwork and effort you have shown throughout the entire year has been outstanding, and today’s result was the perfect reward.

A massive thank you to all of the coaches who have worked with the girls and helped get them to this point, and to the managers and parents for everything you have done behind the scenes throughout the season.

Girls, you have represented Westlakes with pride and done our club incredibly proud.

A big Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads, Pops, Uncles and special people who are always there for our kiddos — coaching from the sidelines, volunteering, cheering them on, kicking a ball around and simply showing up week after week. ⚽️💜

What a way to finish, hosting Grand Finals for the first time in over 10 years.

A massive thank you to all of our volunteers and committee members who gave up their time to help throughout the day and across the finals series. Days like today simply don’t happen without people putting their hands up and getting involved.

Thank you to all of the teams, players, coaches and supporters who visited Fishburn Fields for the respect you showed our grounds, facilities and volunteers.

Thank you to all of the referees — without you, there is no game, and we appreciate the job you do.

A special thank you to Rathmines Butchery for lending us their cool room for the past three weeks. We couldn’t have got through each weekend without your generous contribution.

A huge thank you to Macquarie Football for entrusting us with the opportunity to host such a special day!

A massive congratulations to our Westlakes Wildcats U14/2s, who are 2026 Grand Final Winners! 💜💚

What makes this one even more special is getting the job done at home at Fishburn today, in front of our Wildcats family.

This group has had to overcome plenty of obstacles throughout the year, but they have continued to show determination, resilience and belief in each other. Today, all that hard work was rewarded.

We couldn’t be prouder of every player, coach, manager and family who has been part of the journey.

EOIs HAVE REOPENED – DEVELOPMENT SQUADS 🟣🟢

Due to multiple requests, we have decided to reopen Expressions of Interest for our 2027 Westlakes Wildcats Development Squads until Wednesday 9th September.

Our first Come & Try / Try Out sessions will be held on:

⚽ Monday 14th September
⚽ Wednesday 16th September

There will be more sessions to follow, with further information sent to everyone who has submitted an EOI.

If your child is interested in being part of a Westlakes Wildcats Development Squad in 2027, make sure you get their EOI in before Wednesday!

🐾 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – SATURDAY GRAND FINALS 🐾

We’re looking for a few extra hands to help us get through a massive day of Grand Final football this Saturday.

We currently need:

Duty Officers – throughout the day
Canteen helpers – from 12:30pm onwards

Even an hour or two makes a huge difference, so if you’re available to help out, please let us know.

A massive THANK YOU to all of the teams, parents and volunteers who have already put their hands up to help throughout this Finals Series. It’s because of you that hosting these finals has been so successful.

All Volunteers will be fed and kept hydrated through their shifts
