A Message from Our Beekeeping Family
Sadly, our family has lost over 50% of our honey bee hives due to Varroa mite infestations. In just one week, strong and thriving hives in Brisbane collapsed and died.
Like many Australian beekeepers, we are facing the challenges of managing this devastating pest while working hard to protect the hives we have remaining at our property.
We remain committed to caring for our bees, learning new management techniques, and doing everything we can to help our colonies survive and recover.
