Well worth going to if you're in KI. Just on the outskirts of Kingscote, the set up is amazing and educational. Got talking to the owner and trying some pretty special blends of honey. One (pictured), they have only.ever made once as after the fires this recovered and flowered quickly, sustaining the 60 hives he had in the middle of ash. He pulled 200kg of honey, hence the price tag.

Time to bring my singles up and put them to work full time! Plenty if bees and honey on. Requeen some others and split some more ready for next season. If you're thinking about bees, make sure you've got plenty of time on your hands!

Another 30 gums going in, trying to capitalise on this sustained water level rather than watering. It's supposed to be held up until Christmas which should establish these gums. 300 trees ordered for winter if anyone wants to help plant and lay dripline lol.
