What an incredible weekend for 🍷 Wine, Art & Music at Richmond Park Estate 🍇, our first Open Vineyards event!

From Friday through to Sunday, we were blown away by the warmth, energy and support of everyone who joined us.

A huge thank you to our talented musicians who created the perfect atmosphere across the weekend:
Fred Pribac & Friends, Tom Booth and Cam Tapp
Your performances truly set the tone and made each day so special.

We were also proud to showcase the stunning sculptures and historical works by Stephen Walker, Folko Kooper and Sloane Sculpture, whose pieces added such depth, character and conversation to the estate throughout the weekend.

Thank you to Braised Tasmania for the incredible food, and to Phoebe for helping out and being such a wonderful support throughout the weekend. We’re also so grateful to everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to prepare the property and bring everything together.

Most importantly, thank you to every single person who came along, shared a glass, enjoyed the atmosphere and helped make the weekend such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you.

For the first time in 36 years, the homestead and gardens of Richmond Park Estate will be open to the public as part of Southern Open Vineyards Weekend.

Set amongst the vines in the beautiful Coal River Valley, this special weekend celebration brings together wine, art, music and community in a relaxed and creative gathering on a working vineyard.

Enjoy estate wines poured in this rare and picturesque setting, wander the gardens, and soak up the atmosphere of a truly unique Open Vineyards experience. 🍇🌿

Between live sets, the vineyard soundscape continues. Vinyl will be spinning all weekend, and you’re invited to join in.

Bring your own records and request a favourite, or browse Will’s extensive vinyl collection to find the perfect soundtrack for the vines. Expect classics, hidden gems and unexpected tracks echoing across the gardens. 🎶

🎨 Art Amongst the Vines (All Weekend)

Sculptures and historical works by Stephen Walker, Folko Kooper and Matt Sloan.

Wander, discover artworks nestled amongst the vineyard, and create your own piece inspired by this remarkable setting. 🎨🍃

🍷🧀 Tasting Platters & Boards

Enjoy delicious tasting platters and boards throughout the weekend featuring offerings from Wicked Cheese and Braised Tasmania, perfectly paired with Richmond Park Estate wines available for tasting and purchase all weekend.

Dogs are welcome (on lead, this is a working farm).

We’re so excited to be collaborating with our next-door neighbours, .estate, for Open Vineyards weekend, and they’re doing something truly special.
For this weekend only, Richmond Park Estate will be opening the beautiful country garden at the homestead to visitors, with live music across both days. This is a chance not to be missed. The last time these gardens were open to the public was during the Australian Open Garden Scheme back in the 1990s.
