Looking back on the last few years, in spite of drought and flooding rains, we have come a long way. This year my focus is the dahlia patch and having everything planted and labelled ASAP. Keeping track and recording everything is a big job but what can I say... I love dahlias!
Of course the goats and chooks take up a fair bit of each day too.
The last photo is before we started clearing and planting. Everything gets done by hand here so it’s quite labour intensive.

Flowers coming soon. It’s a busy time of year getting everything prepared and planted for summer. Tulips are staying in the garden this year so I have something pretty to look at with all the miserable flooding rain. Peonies are starting to form buds, lilies growingbigger everyday and dahlias will be going in over the rest of the month with all my new orders received now and dividing well underway.
