Leakes Road Finally Getting Temporary Lights 😊

LEAKES IS GETTING LIGHTS!🚦

Both the north and south freeway intersections will be getting temporary traffic lights. They will be cage-mounted lights with detector loops at stop lines. They will also have the capability to be monitored by the Transport Operation Centre.

This will include a marked pedestrian crossing with signals.

It was my honour to ask Donna to Parliament House to hear the news first, as she has led the advocacy for these lights.

Thank you to Donna, and every single community member who has advocated for these lights! It is because of you all that we are getting this!
