IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM ROCKDALE MEAT MARKET
To our Valued Customers and the Rockdale Community,
It is with a heavy heart that we must announce the permanent closure of Rockdale Meat Market/chicken licious, effective December 16, 2023. After enduring the devastating storms last year and facing substantial damages, our journey to rebuild has been met with insurmountable challenges. Despite our best efforts, including the merger with Chicken Licious, the obstacles have proven too great to overcome.
For 13 years, we have been proud to serve you with dedication and passion. Our decision to close stems not from a lack of effort, but from the harsh realities we've faced, including the lack of adequate support from our insurance and the subsequent financial strain. The closure of our current operations marks the end of an era but also the beginning of a new chapter.
Looking ahead, we are excited to announce our plans to rebrand and reinvent our business. We are in search of a larger premises to re-establish Chicken Licious. Furthermore, the current site of Rockdale Meat Market will soon transform into a Retro Arcade Gaming based Food business. This change not only represents our resilience but also our commitment to continue serving the Rockdale community, a community our family has been a part of for over 30 years.
We understand that change can be difficult, but we are motivated by the challenge to rebuild and reinvent. We are determined to fix one problem at a time, moving forward with the same dedication and passion that has always been at the heart of our family business.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to you, our incredible customers. Your support over these 13 remarkable years has been the backbone of our journey. As we embark on this new venture, we look forward to your continued patronage and support.
