It's finally happening! Our much-anticipated smokehouse kitchen opens this Wednesday and we can't wait to share good food, great b**r and good times with CQ!

🍔 KITCHEN OPENING HOURS
Wednesday | Dinner 5pm – 8pm (smaller menu)
Thursday – Saturday | Lunch 12pm – 2pm & Dinner 5pm – 8pm (full menu)
Sunday | We're keeping the food trucks rolling in!

Big Rock have brewed two German-style b**rs just for the occasion:

🌾 Hefeweizen (4.6%): a cloudy, refreshing wheat b**r with those classic banana and clove notes
🍻 Kölsch (4.9%): crisp, clean and dangerously easy drinking in the Queensland heat

🍺 We’ve been given a pretty bloody exciting job this Oktoberfest…

Big Rock Brewing has been asked to brew b**rs for TWO local Oktoberfest celebrations!

🍻 Rockhampton Riverside Oktoberfest
🍻 The Station 4703 Oktoberfest, Yeppoon

We’ve brewed two traditional German styles especially for the occasion:

KÖLSCH - Crisp, delicate and seriously drinkable. Light-bodied, clean with a refreshing dry finish. Brewed for the l***r drinker who wants something just a little different.

HEFEWEIZEN - A traditional Bavarian wheat b**r style with banana and fresh strawberry character. Soft, pillowy smooth and delicious, exactly how a Hefe should be.

Both b**rs have been brewed right here at Big Rock specifically for Oktoberfest and will be pouring at both celebrations on Saturday 10 October.

And because we’re not letting everyone else have all the fun…

🍺 We’ll be tapping both b**rs at Big Rock Brewing from TONIGHT!

These are special Oktoberfest batches and stocks are limited, once they’re gone, they’re gone.

🍻 WHAT’S ON AT BIG ROCK THIS WEEK 🍻

We’ve been pretty busy behind the scenes lately getting the Big Rock Kitchen ready to go… and this Wednesday you’ll get a little taste of what we’ve been working on! 👀🍔

We’re catering for Run & Rump and from 6.30pm we’ll open our limited menu to the public. One night only, limited supply, available until sold out!🍔
A little preview of what we’ve been working on in the Big Rock Kitchen before it actually opens!

The rest of the week is looking pretty good too: Music Bingo Thursday, Friday Knockoffs with the jackpot now at $500, The Village Boys are back LIVE on the Big Rock stage on Saturday and we’ll finish it off with the NRL Grand Final LIVE & LOUD on Sunday. Plus Rossco’s Pizza and Fitzroy River Seafood across the week.
