It’s been a distressing two months at Highlanders of Amberley.
Not only did we lose our wonderful Morag due to old age but more devastatingly suffered the loss owner and breeder Shane.
It was Shane’s dream to own and breed miniature highlanders. In 2017 that came true when two Highlander cows called Bonnie and Morgan arrived from Victoria. From there he grew, cared for and dearly loved this mob of “furry” cattle. Nothing was too much and every moment spent with them was a blessing. Every photo we took were of moments treasured, and now they mean so much more.
Because of this over the coming months we will need to destock our miniature highland herd with a mix of older cows and calves for sale.
