Wurrook Superfine Prime - Fine Grained Australian Merino Meat

Wurrook Superfine Prime - Fine Grained Australian Merino Meat Our product is free from growth promotants, antibiotics and sustainably farmed from our paddocks to

Our farm is situated 150 kilometres west of Melbourne – between Ballarat, Geelong and Colac – on the picturesque Western Plains of Victoria, Australia. Here more than 20,000 Wurrook Superfine Merinos enjoy roaming on over 7000 acres of natural grassland in a region known for its fresh, clean air. Utilising the unique 150-year-old Wurrook bloodline our Superfine Merinos are slowly matured for two y

ears on the land to produce this rich, sweet flavoured, fine-grained meat. Unlike fat lamb, which is bred to grow out quickly, the Superfine Merino is a naturally slower maturing breed of sheep. That is why the age at which we process our merinos is two years old. The welfare and low-stress handling of our sheep is integral to the production of Wurrook Superfine Prime. We maintain complete supply chain management from paddock to plate so you know - as a consumer - where it has come from, what it has been eating and how it has been treated. This includes a strict protocol of no growth hormones, no promotants and no antibiotics. Our product comes to you vacuum packaged to ensure greater longevity, hygiene and eating quality.
