Today's takes us back to 2001, capturing the final meeting of the combined Victoria and Macknade Mill Suppliers Committees.
Following industry deregulation, this marked a major transition: moving from Mill Supplier Committees to Companies under the CANEGROWERS banner and introducing the regional board model we know today.
Pictured are the elected members who helped shape this change, with a new 10-member CANEGROWERS Herbert River Executive established from 1 May 2001.
