These absolute units are off to Brisbane as display fruit for Australian Pineapples. We’ve cut the rough end off and dressed them up for the big occasion.

Let’s just say… size matters when you’re putting on a show. 😏

Queensland’s pineapple growers have every right to be concerned. Once a pest gets into Australia, you can’t simply undo the damage. That’s why our biosecurity standards must remain among the strongest in the world.
Our growers are already doing it tough with rising costs. They shouldn’t be asked to shoulder more risk while competing against imports that may not meet the same standards.
Australian pineapples should come first. Labor must listen to growers, put biosecurity first and protect this great Queensland industry.
