THE ROSABROOK STORY

Rosa Brook was originally home to a small number of group settlement farmers who pioneered the dairy industry in Margaret River in the 1930’s. Many of the isolated clearings they struggled to tame are now home to some of the region’s prime vineyards. Rosabrook Wines was one of the first wine producing pioneers of the region. Owned by Calneggia Family Vineyards, the winemaking

philosophy, carefully guided by the Calneggia Family and Chief Winemaker Severine Logan, is to create elegant, fruit driven wines that are a reflection of the vineyard. THE WINEMAKER

Rosabrook Wine's Chief Winemaker is the highly talented Severine Logan. Severine was raised in the Loire Valley, France and studied Oenology at Toulouse University. She spent 5 years working across multiple regions in France and moved to Australia in 1995 to start her winemaking career. After climbing the ranks, Severine became winemaker for both Houghton and Sandalford Wines in Western Australia before spending 6 years as Winemaker for Rosemount Estates in the Hunter Valley. She joined Watershed Premium Wines as their Head Winemaker in 2007 where she spent 12 years developing their formidable reputation and creating award-winning wines. Severine is a highly respected winemaker and has judged on the French and Australian wine show circuit. She joined Calneggia Family Vineyards in late 2019 and now plays a very important part in growing their brands whilst building her expertise as a winemaker. THE VINEYARDS

The spiritual home of Rosabrook Wines is the Rosabrook Estate vineyard located in the hamlet of Rosa Brook some 14 kilometres from the Margaret River Township. This vineyard grows most of the white varietals and produces wines with elegance and finesse. We also source fruit from our other vineyards located in both the north and south of the Margaret River region. THE ROSABROOK WINES

Rosabrook produces a number of premium, classic Margaret River wine varietals and blends including Sauvignon Blanc Semillon, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Merlot. Rosabrook also produces Shiraz and Tempranillo which are less well known varietals for Margaret River. THE SINGLE VINEYARD ESTATE WINES

The Rosabrook Single Vineyard Estate Wines are made from hand picked fruit and matured in top quality French or American oak. These wines are bottle aged for 18 months prior to release and have medium to long term cellaring potential. CALNEGGIA FAMILY VINEYARDS

Calneggia Family Vineyards has owned vineyards and been involved in wine in the Margaret River region for over thirty years. The Calneggia family owns several premium vineyards across the region and produces a number of wines under the Rosabrook, Bunkers, CALNEGGIA and Bramble Lane labels. In recent years, the family has expanded their portfolio to include a range of wines from Italy in conjunction with their Italian producer partners. The Calneggia family’s philosophy is to produce fruit driven, elegant wines that are a true reflection of the vineyards they come from, with an uncompromised commitment to quality.
