Today marks the change in focus for this page. Over the last few years, Going Walkabout has been a travel page, highlighting our many trips and explorations around Australia. Along the way it has not only been a way to archive all these wonderful experiences but additionally been a way for us to help others with advise on their planning, vehicle setup, camping options, food options, communication tools and many more. It has been our way to live the Australian dream, to enjoy and experience the abundance this land has to offer the adventure seekers.
Today our focus changes to the next chapter of living the Australian dream and that is to establish our farm in Rosedale and provide Australians with sweet succulent strawberries. We focus not only on the quality of the product but equally important, how to implement sustainable farming practices, to enhance our surroundings and ensure the longevity of the operation for generations to come. Our vision is to create a vibrant micro economy within the town that ultimately will provide employment and commercial opportunities for many others.
We hope you continue to follow us along this journey as we implement the first strawberry trial of 2,000 plants this year. Our aim is to document our decisions and experiences and ultimately to create our own little agri tourism business in the heart of Gippsland.
