Hard to believe today marks 10 years since the sudden passing of Kym Jenke, when the Barossa Wine Community lost one of its talented Winemakers and the Jenke family lost their spirited Son, lively Brother and fun Uncle.
Kym was the heart and soul of Jenke Vineyards, bringing a massive personality, infectious energy, and distinct craftsmanship to every Vintage. Whether you knew him as a life-long friend, through his winery, his love for Boxer dogs or hot rods, or from an unforgettable chat at Cellar Door, he left an undeniable mark on everyone he met.
Today, we raise a glass to Kym’s enduring legacy, which continues to live on through his family and the winery he poured his pride and joy into.
Cheers to you, Kym. Gone way too soon, but never forgotten.
