The Liebich’s were born into winemaking and have been custodians of quality vineyards and winemaking since 1919. Our winemaker, Ron, has been making wines in the Barossa for over 50 years. Together with his wife, Janet, they continue this long tradition and passion for sharing great wine, food and company. Our name is pronounced Lee-BICK wine, meaning “I love wine” in German.

Things are changing around here

We've decided to change cellar door hours from 1 September 2026. After spending a few days away on the Eyre Peninsula, it reminded us that the fishing and caravanning spots are calling!

Liebichwein cellar door will be open on Fridays and Saturdays from 11am to 5pm. We'll also be open the first Sunday of each month from 12pm to 4pm.

Visits at other times are very welcome by appointment - just give us a call on (08) 8524 4543.

We have a winner!

Thanks to those who entered our Father's Day competition. We've notified a lucky winner from our mailing list.

They will receive a bottle each of Liebich Grand Tawny and Grand Semillon - our best-selling premium aged fortifieds. Both are average 15 year old blends of Barossa Semillon and Grenache-based Tawny from grapes grown on our property. Sweet, luscious wines with great depth and balance.

What a week it's been! We've just returned from the Eyre Peninsula Field Days in Cleve. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and share a chat over a glass or two.

We came home to this stunning display near our cellar door. These blooms bring joy and fond memories of Ron's late mother Lorna Liebich who won many awards for growing camellias.
