AI says
"They actively compete for viewership and advertising revenue. "

Channel 7 (Seven Network) and Channel 9 (Nine Network) are fierce commercial rivals, not general collaborators. They operate under different parent companies—Seven West Media and Nine Entertainment Co., respectively—and actively compete for viewership and advertising revenue.

Mi-3.com.au +3

However, they do cooperate in specific, limited, or legally required areas:

Joint Venture (Transmission): They are co-owners of TXA (Broadcast Transmission Australia), which was set up in 1999 to combine their transmission infrastructure for digital television.

Operational Efficiencies: In 2016, the networks combined their helicopter resources for electronic news gathering (ENG) in major capital cities.

Industry Standards: They often follow similar scheduling patterns to one another for advertising breaks, creating an aligned "template" for commercial TV.

ACCC +2

Apart from these technical or functional instances, they are intense competitors, often facing each other in legal disputes over content, such as format similarities between programs.

Whenever Leila was cooking and hosting I was admiring her presence and how she was reliving Persian/Iranian ways with her family far from 💔

Today on her story she shared how to have a toolbox full of ways to ground ourselves and those have to be accumulated before the emotionally demanding events so whatever steps we take today in our wellbeing and its protection and comeback is very important.

Sometimes we can't protect ourselves against what is happening so we need to find ways to live it and be present for the time-being. Not live the past, nor future, only present to keep going.

Watching 's story while she was making Denmarki & puff pastries and baking these in the oven which me and the boys, & Nickaan & Apex made last night and one turned as an envelope shape, brings me more hope
for the best outcomes for Iran.
When Leila bakes something like these, a great event happens in Iran.🤞✌️

The story why we Iranian are happy when explosives get to the leaders is a story you might know from 2022 and or reading the history of past 47 years of Iran.

Love you and hope you have amazing

Look forward to co-hosting the beautiful Adelaide.

Come along and join us for the next monthly Community Night! All are welcome.

This month we'll be featuring Iranian cuisine and culture in collaboration with commemorating Eyd Aval.

The 21st of March is traditionally observed as the Persian New Year, . This year, however, recent devastating events in Iran have changed the tone of the occasion. The celebration is being recognised as Eyd Aval, the first Eyd observed after the passing of loved ones.

In Iranian tradition, this first celebration after a loss is marked in a more subdued and reflective way. Iranian culture is diverse, comprising many ethnicities and languages. It is generally expressed through music, food, poetry and community gatherings. While Nourooz is typically joyful, this year’s observance acknowledges grief alongside the rich history and culture of the Iranian people.

Grief this year evolved in Persian culture, the celebratory dances over the graves of loved ones became a symbolic act of resilience and standing up to 47 years of oppression.

Come join us to celebrate the change in universe, the change in nature in the Northern hemisphere and create with us a supportive community who could hold each other for the good, bad or worst of situations.
This event is also in collaboration with the .events Multicultural communities Council of SA (MCCSA)'s Community Connections Program and supported by the City of Adelaide.

DATE: Wednesday 25th March
TIME: 6pm for 6:30pm start - 8:30pm

In Persian culture, time has always been an ingredient.

Not measured only in minutes or hours, but in patience... in stories... in the quiet devotion of hands that stir, fold, grind, and wait. Persian food was never meant to be rushed. It asks for presence. It asks for love. And above all, it asks for endurance.

A pot of Ghormeh Sabzi does not reveal its soul quickly. The herbs must be chopped patiently, the beans soaked, the stew left to simmer slowly until the fragrance fills the entire home. A delicate tray of Tahchin demands careful layering and a watchful eye so that its golden crust emerges perfectly. Even something as celebratory as Fesenjan takes hours for walnuts and pomegranate to surrender their deep, complex harmony.

These dishes are not simply recipes. They are acts of devotion.

For generations, Persian mothers and fathers have stood in kitchens long before dawn or long after sunset, stirring slow stews while telling stories of the past. Children grow up watching these rituals. They learn that food is not only nourishment, it is memory, identity, and quiet resistance against forgetting who we are.

In every Persian home, cooking is storytelling.

It is the grandmother who insists the herbs must be fried “just a little longer.”

It is the father who proudly lifts the pot to reveal a perfect Tahdig, the golden crown at the bottom of the rice.
It is the family gathered around the table, waiting together, because Persian food teaches something rare in the modern world: good things require time.

And perhaps that is why Persian culture has survived so much.

For centuries, Iran has faced invasion, hardship, upheaval, and exile. Yet the culture never disappeared. It lived quietly in kitchens, in poetry, in songs, and in the simple act of feeding one another.

Today, the Persian story continues in two very different places.

Inside Iran, families live under immense pressure, waiting, enduring, hoping for the day when the long shadow of the Islamic Republic lifts from their homeland. Many face fear, uncertainty, and now even the terror of bombs in the sky.
