Welcome the Kembla Cherry Orchard! If you wish to pick your own, there is a $5 entry fee per person (this allows you to taste a few cherries prior to picking). Buckets are supplied along with instructions on how to pick to ensure there is no damage to the trees. From there, you will be directed to the current picking area (where the cherries are the most ripe) with the assistance from our team. On

ce you have your desired amount of fruit, you can have it weighed and paid for. Please be advised that anything you pick you must purchase. Unfortunately, we are cash only due to poor internet service. No requirement to book. Cherries picked $12 per kg

Healthy fruit for healthy people

Kembla Cherry Orchard in Royalla is the home of premium cherries in the Canberra and Queanbeyan region. Established in 2001 by Martin Corby, a 4th generation orchardist, Kembla Cherry Orchard is home to 2000 cherry trees consisting of five different varieties: Merchant, Lapin, Stella, Ron and Sunburst (white variety). Kembla Cherry Orchard is located in Royalla Station Estate, off the Monaro Hwy, 20 minutes south of Tuggeranong or 20 minutes south of Queanbeyan off the Old Cooma Road. Picking your own cherries in the orchard is a rewarding experience. Buckets are issued upon arrival along with instructions on the correct picking method. Sun protection and enclosed shoes are recommended. Cherries are pesticide and fungicide free and packed by hand on site. Premium 2kg boxes are available for sale and are a great gift idea or delicious addition to your table for the festive season. Cherry season in the Canberra region is mid December to early January.
