This Sunday I had the opportunity to make Another hot wheels cake for Another Archie!?! What are the odds only a couple of weeks apart? Even though my last hot wheels cake was incredible, I thought I'd use this one as an opportunity to give it another crack considering the events surrounding my last one.

This stunning cake was ordered for an 18th birthday party tonight. I had the pleasure of creating the design with the lovely Candice weeks ago and all I can say is, the vision was visioning 😍
A few little hiccups during the actual making of the cake process but who could tell 😉
Even had the pleasure of delivering this one to Singleton and met the beautiful birthday girl and saw her reaction to her cake. I even managed to somehow match the table set up, the holographic topper that matched the disco balls. The perfect colour shades. And even the font of the 18's 😅

The beautiful Mackenzie returned again this weekend, this time for her baby shower cake.
A caramel cake with a whipped cream and caramel swirl filling and a buttercream finish 🤤
Cake pops and chocolate hearts to decorate and a hand-made teddy bear topper to finish it off. And because I know how much she and her family love them, I added on a dozen matching cakepops which apparently were gone in a blink of an eye 🥰

Okay, I'm pretty proud of this one 😍

Not just because this is a thing of beauty.

But because I finished this cake, along with 2 other orders, with a fractured shoulder.

Apparently not even falling over, an ambo ride, half the night in the hospital, xrays, CTs and discovering I've fractured my shoulder can stop me.
There were orders due.

Was it smart? Probably not 😅
Did I sleep for 18 straight hours after it was all over? Fu***ng oath I did 🤣
But it was all worth it. The other cakes will get their own post.
But this? This needs recognition.

Individually placed chequered racing panels, cars launching off ramps, a car coming out through the bottom of the cake, piped grass and clouds, and that ring of fire?! 🏎️💨🔥

I definitely could not have finished this cake without some help, and I am so grateful to those who were able and step in by babysitting my son while I was in hospital and finishing off these orders, and helping me finish decorating while I did what I could, and by helping me deliver the orders because I couldn't carry them or drive.
Thank you all so much 🖤

Seeing this monster sitting on my bench at 4am made it all worth it. 🥹🫶
