2025 Spring lambs: $12/kg
2026 Spring lambs: $13–14–15/kg??? 🤔❓

Last year, the mould for what Australian lambs are worth was broken.
We entered uncharted territory — and it wasn’t a flash in the pan.
It held consistently for the entire season.

So why did it happen?

Low ewe numbers.
High mutton prices.
An increased number of feedlots.

Together, they underpinned the store lamb market.

And here’s the thing — nothing has changed.

Ewe numbers remain at record lows.
High mutton prices are still too attractive to justify keeping excess ewes.
There simply aren’t enough lambs around to meet demand.

Feedlots are still going strong, backed by dropping grain prices and attractive forward kill contracts.

Don’t miss the opportunity.

This is not the year to risk a poor joining with old, lazy rams.
This is the year to capitalise.

Back up the dries.

The Prime Lamb industry can't fail right now!

As a prime lamb producer - The ducks will never be any more in a row than they are right now!

✅Grain prices are low and forecasted to remain so.
✅Hay prices continue to drop.
✅Mutton prices are holding well north of $6
✅Finished lambs have consistently sold for $10-$12 all spring and are forecasted to remain strong.
✅Feedlotters are creating an increased demand for store lambs Lambs - consitently selling for $5/kg live and above.
✅The national ewe numbers are still low - shortage of ewes = Shortage of Lambs = short supply = Prices will remain strong.

As a prime lamb producer - The ducks will never be any more in a row than they are right now!

💪Before & After - 12 Weeks of Eat, sleep & Repeat!

⌚These photos are taken 12 weeks and 1 day apart. Same mob of lambs, same feeder. All that is different - time.

Every sheep is equipped with an engine - the rumen - but rather than driving it in low range first gear. Give it some revs (Feed it!), change it up in 3rd, 4th and 5th - And then let it cruise!

Once you've worked out how to drive in high range: Why not upgrade your vehicle (the genetics)? Swap your old bush-bomb for a Ferrari instead!
