Things may be a bit quiet this year for us, with the lack of feed and a 2 legged addition arriving later in the year.

You will still see us at the shows in person, but most likely no 4 legged animals as we set to focus on keeping feed up to the stock and welcoming what we predict to be the 4th birth this year for Sunshine.

"The reason for the W4 on the tag for those who may not understand. W is this year's letter. So all animals will have their name starting with W and we are predicting it to be the 4th born on Sunshine. "

No it's not from the good-looking bloke in the photo. He's found some girlfriends for a while. 😉

Please PM us for some more information on beef as we will have some available before Australia day.

There may even be a special involved 🤔.

Well there comes a time when a stud has to move on there bulls.

So SUNSHINE U-BEAUT U1 is on the move. Could your place be his next home? Or need some girls to have a date? He's available 😉

Pictured in his working clothes. Just on hay/straw we have been able to get for the last couple months with this lovely drought.

He has been shown as a calf at foot on Ballyvaughan Faith Q1. Who got reserve champion Murray grey cow at the Royal Adelaide show 2023.

Sired by Ballyvaughan Katut K1 who got Grand champion bull MG bull in 2016.

Has been shown as a youngster. Has had many good comments about his structure, docility and capacity.

We have calves by him and cows in calf to him so his sire duties are on hold here at Sunshine.

The camera wasn't out as much today as we would have liked. But loved this shot of the Judge Emily Edwards and Matt with our beloved U-Beaut today at the The Murray Bridge Show Beef Cattle section in the Senior bull ring.

💥Champion Senior Bull with Sunshine U-Beaut U1 🎖️🥇

💥2nd in heifer 16-20 months with Sunshine Unity U9🥈

💥1st in bull and female pair. With U-Beaut and Unity🥇

💥2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th with Handlers over 18 yrs with Matt, Chelsea, Sharna and Justin. U-Beaut also assisting with the handler under 18 yrs winning her class!🥈🥉🏅🏅

💥1st and 3rd in junior Judging 🥇🥉

Well Cadfor Jessica Q4 (Grizzly) has done it again. Twin bulls sired by Ballyvaughan Katut.

Being the perfect mother who looks after both her boys and with a combined birth weight of 66kgs has done herself well!
