The Golden Egg Farm

The Golden Egg Farm Farm fresh pasture grazed eggs from our hens that are constantly moved on green pastures to produce the best and most nutritious tasting eggs.

Situated on the Wybong Creek
west of Scone in the Upper Hunter Valley

On “The Farm” our hens are moved regularly on green pasture paddocks to roam and forage freely in a natural open environment, sheltering in movable housing and supplemented with premium chook food to produce the best flavoured Eggs

We have been running beef cattle for over 27 years and have now complemented our farming business by introducing Pasture Fed Hens

It has been a long wait to acquire some new hens for our flock.

If your looking 👀 for our Golden Eggs at the newcastlecityfarmersmarket then look for Erin at Pillidge Farm. They are our EGG 🥚 SITTERS while Chris and Sue are having a well earned break from their Bulga Orange 🍊 Stall.
Erin is directing opposite, so very easy to find.

Erin from Pillidge Farm and her partner Chris have their farm at Morpeth and are an absolute cornerstone of Newcastle's Farmers Market.
They both do a lot of work behind the scenes to support other famers and the sustainability of the market.
Every week, rain hail or shine they are there with fresh fruit and veg and a bounty of jams, preserves and kombucha Erin makes with produce from their farm.
