💫 With our brilliant backpacker heading home, Holbrook Thoroughbreds is looking for a full time stud person! Hours are a minimum of 38hrs a week and you will be required to work every second weekend.

The role is diverse with the opportunity to work in a fun environment with mares/foals and yearlings with the potential to attend sales.

The position is open to both experienced applicants and those that are new to stud work or looking to get a foot in the door.

Potential applicants should posses the following attributes:

🐎 Previous horse experience.
🚘 Drivers license and own transport.
👏 Be self motivated.
🗣️ Great communication and record keeping skills.
💃 The ability to work as part of a small team and autonomously.
📋 Attention to detail.

✨ We have also opened a new position!

We are seeking a farm allrounder 🚜, someone who has basic horse handling skills but also has an interested in general farm maintenance.

The role will involve but is not limited to:
🐴 Holding horses for vets, farriers, dentists etc.
🪣 Feeding and general horses care
🌾 Paddock maintenance (slashing etc.)
🛠️ Fence repairs
💧 Water trough repairs
🪏 Gardening
🌱 Lawn care
🌳 Dripperline maintenance
🐮 Cattle work

The successful applicant will posses the following attributes:

🚘 Licence and own vehicle
⏰ Good time management skills
🗣️ Good communication skills
📋 Ability to follow instructions
👏 Ability to work as part of a small team and autonomously.

✨Holbrook Thoroughbreds are a boutique, family owned stud located just 12kms outside of Scone.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, Full-time or Casual person to join the team as a stud hand.

The role is diverse with the opportunity to work in a fun environment with mares/foals and yearlings with the potential to attend sales.

The position is open to both experienced persons and those that are new to stud work or looking to get a foot in the door.

Potential applicants must be available to work every second weekend and should posses the following skills/attributes:

🐴 Lot 290 ~ True Delight, has consistently thrown a strong type, she has a 3yo Saxon Warrior, a 2yo Pariah and a yealing and weanling both by St Marks Basilica. all have been retained by the owner and are still to race for her.
