Mike was such a great guy.
Sending all our love to Kim and all the family.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Mike from Meat at the Market, after a courageous health battle.

Mike was an excellent butcher, and above all, a much loved and respected member of our Market community for over a decade, and a friend to so many traders, customers and staff. Our thoughts are with Kim, Cooper, Tom, Mike’s children, their extended family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.

Meat at the Market will reopen from tomorrow. We kindly ask that the family's privacy be respected during this time, and that they be given the space to do business and grieve in their own way.

We will share details of how the community can pay tribute to Mike in due course.

And just like that another Christmas season is done. We have sold every single bird available. It’s been a hectic few weeks , juggling processing and delivering through the heat. But we got there.
A huge thank you to all our loyal customers. I hope you all get a nice rest soon. Mark and all his staff at Kapowie Poultry who do an amazing job, thank you.
