Even on a busy day, our staff make time to ensure Alfie gets a peaceful moment to enjoy his meal - without a few hundred curiosity hens trying to help themselves!
Looking after our animals is all part of the day, and sometimes that simply means sitting beside them while they finish their dinner.

With around 17 000 hens on the farm, there's certainly no shortage of eggs to collect....
Our team is kept busy each day collecting eggs from across the farm, ready for another big week of supplying fresh South Australian Eggs!

After a welcome shower, the hens were back out enjoying the fresh green pasture while a rainbow stretched across the sky. Moments like these are a reminder of how fortunate we are to farm in such a beautiful part of the Fleurieu Peninsula

Weigh Day......
Weekly hen weighing plays an important role in flock management. Weekly body weight checks help us understand how the hens are developing and whether nutrition and management are on track. Week 25 and our hens are smashing it!

A beautiful morning at Ashley Park.... chatty hens scratching through fresh pasture while the sheep graze quietly alongside them. Farm mornings don't get much better than this!!!

50 Weeks old and our girls are looking incredible. Healthy feathering, bright combs and still working hard out in the pasture every day
