Picking our final Mirus block today, our 1936 Block 16 Grenache bush vines.

It seems quite fitting that we finish harvesting this complicated vintage with these ‘Survivor Vines’, - dry gown, 90 years old and unique clone, are a testament to the survival nature of the industry that we love.

With our goor friend, Chef, Sandor Palmai we bring you Eight. A seasonal shared-table private dining lunch — an unhurried, hosted food and wine experience designed to celebrate conversation, creativity and the simple pleasure of eating and drinking well, with your favourite people.

It’s not a restaurant service, but a curated gathering, a relaxed Mirus wine tasting set alongside the incredible food of Sandor in our Mirus Room.

8 is both symbolic and intentional, representing cycles, community and connection.

One weekend a month (Friday/Saturday) enjoy a private dining long lunch with you and 7 of your favourite people, a relaxed Mirus tasting will complement Sandor’s outstadning dishes.

Our Cabernet is half way through version, very pretty! This block was ‘reworked’ in 2024, involving cutting off old, dead wood, replacing old trellising and irrigation systems. A heavy handed approach but these vines have clearly enjoyed the renovation.
