💩The Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Vacuum Tanker Truck Operator to join our experienced team.
This role is ideal for someone who holds a HR licence (or is willing and able to obtain one), has truck driving experience, and is prepared to undertake general labouring duties as part of a hands-on team.
As part of an essential service industry, we offer job stability and consistent work, along with the family-friendly hours and above-award pay rates. There is also opportunity for overtime and occasional weekend work.
Our day typically starts with coffee at the local bakery, followed by a team discussion covering daily jobs, fleet maintenance and WHSE priorities.
Additional responsibilities may include operating high pressure cleaning equipment and completing general labouring tasks.
💩 What we are looking for:
The successful candidate will possess or able to demonstrate:
• A current HR licence, or willingness and ability to obtain one.
• Mechanical aptitude and practical problem solving skills.
• Physical fitness to perform labour intensive work.
• A positive attitude, with strong reliability and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and liaise effectively with clients.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Computer literacy, including the ability to use mobile phone apps for data entry (CRM systems)
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules, including occasional night shifts and weekend work.
• A strong commitment to meeting all WHS&E requirements.
We're after someone who is technically minded, reliable, and eager to learn. You should be confident working independently and committed to safety and professionalism.
Essential Criteria:
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
• Ability to provide contact details of two recent referees (mandatory)
• White card (or willing to obtain)
• Confined space certification ( or willingness to obtain)
