Gaelic Cemetery Vineyard Celtic Farm Riesling 2022 (Clare Valley, Australia).

The label is minimalist, but the wine in the bottle is far from minimalist. This is a cracking Riesling from the outstanding 2022 vintage. The wine has poise and laser focus. It overdelivers on quality.

On the nose are aromas of white flowers, lemons 🍋, and talc. In the mouth there is wonderful tangy acidity, but the overall balance is pitch perfect. Flavors include lemons 🍋, spices, wet slate, and bath salts. The finish is clean with lovely minerality.

Garlic Cemetery Vineyard is a producer with a low profile. That is not reflective of their wines which are very good. This is especially the case with their Rieslings.
