I love the feel of soil flowing thru my fingers and am delighted when plants grow and flower, bringing in the bees and birds. Charles and I heard of permaculture and thought this was the future of food production. Since the job situation in South Africa dried up, and we were given a marvellous opportunity to immigrate to Australia, we thought we would pursue our permaculture interests here. I help
ed out at the Coal Loader sustainability center in Waverton, Sydney; have completed an Introduction to Permaculture course with Penny Pyett in St Albans (PSI) and completed a PDC with Nick Ritar Of Milkwood Permaculture. Since then we have bought this amazing block to live our dream... build an eco house and be as self sustainable as possible. We want to produce our own food, especially fruits and veggies, implement permaculture principles to nurture the site and our family.
