FROM A 100-YEAR-OLD WATER TOWER TO 250,000 LITRES OF NEW WATER STORAGE 💧

When a local rural property needed to replace a water tower that had been in service for around 100 years, the Water Plus Irrigation team was engaged to design and deliver a new water storage solution.

The water supply is crucial to the property throughout the year, supplying an extensive garden as well as a network of stock troughs.

With approximately 250,000 litres of storage required, we selected an Australian made - Pioneer steel water tank for the job.

After preparing the tank base, we worked with Quentin White Plumbing to have the new tank erected. Our team then connected the existing pipework and modified the the system so the tank fills automatically from a large dam and reconnected the property's pump system to draw from the new storage.

There was another important consideration — how it looked.

The customer wanted the new tank to complement the colour of the original water tower and the property's old bluestone buildings. With Pioneer's extensive colour range, we were able to find a great match.

It's a good example of what we mean when we talk about providing complete water solutions.
