We're celebrating a huge milestone – Jarrod has officially clocked up 10 years with us!

Since joining the team in 2015, Jarrod has proven himself as the ultimate all-rounder. Whether he’s down in the trenches getting muddy, wiring up and commissioning a high-tech irrigation control system (or rolling around on a freshly laid lawn😊 ) he tackles every task with skill and enthusiasm.

His positivity and infectious smile brightens everyone's day, and we’re so grateful to have him as part of the Water Plus family.

🎉 Big Congrats to Geoff on 10 Years at Water Plus Irrigation! 🎉

Geoff has been a true all-rounder, taking on everything from installations and maintenance to pump repairs and warehousing. He’s also got a great sense of humour and quick wit that keeps the team laughing! 😄

But what really sets Geoff apart is his selflessness. He’s always the first to jump in and lend a hand, no matter the task. 🙌

As the oldest member of the team, we’re not sure how much longer we’ll have him (that’s why we keep him close to the AED 😂), but we’re grateful for every year he’s been with us!

Water Plus Irrigation recently supplied, installed, and commissioned a high-capacity pump set to support hard hose irrigators on a property in Mangalore, Victoria.

The system features three Ornell lineshaft turbine pumps, each with 18-metre columns and powered by 90kW electric motors, delivering a combined flow rate of 180 litres per second at 750kPa. It also includes a Lowara Z631 11kW submersible jacking pump. All equipment was installed on a 6-metre-high platform to ensure the motors remain above flood level.

Control of the system is managed by a Matelec "HydroTouch" quad pump controller, fitted with Danfoss FC202 variable speed drives for precise and efficient operation.

12-metre steel piles were driven into the ground to support the pump house and hurdles. The pumps were then connected to the mainline using 200mm and 300mm stainless steel pipework.
