From growing up amongst the vines to now sharing the Estate with his own kids, Coolangatta has been part of Ben's life for as long as he can remember.

Like most family businesses, he's done a bit of everything over the years — vineyard work, tractor work, weddings, maintenance, accommodation, and plenty of jobs in between.

Then & now — The Plumber’s Shop.

Once the district workshop, and originally much larger than what remains today.

This is what was purchased in 1947 — a building in serious disrepair.

What stands here now is the result of restoring what was already here, not starting again.

These buildings date back to the early 1800s and have been brought back as they are — not rebuilt into something modern.

He’s eased off a little and let the outdoor team get involved, but let’s be honest… he’s still overseeing it.
