Every post these days has to be about fuel so here is ours.

Short supply chains are resilient. If you buy from us tomorrow the grand total your food travelled is 52km. From our farm to the market all harvested the day before.

Fresher product, less travel, money goes straight back into the local community.

We have no markets this weekend, so we're offering vege boxes to be delivered this Friday (March 6th) arvo to Smeaton, Creswick or in between (Kingston, Allendale, Broomfield).

Assessing the damage from a freak hail storm that ripped through Smeaton on Sunday.

Luckily we seemed to be right on the edge of it and missed the worst so our green houses survived.

A lot of damage to our outdoor plants, especially zucchini, beans, and onions. We will likely see more disease and pest pressure as all the hail damage will severely weaken the plants.

Likely a bit less produce for the next month or two but we will replant!

With the latest heatwave the Summer crops are finally all coming on line.

The tomatoes are looking beautiful and the eggplants are just starting to get going.
