AGF have production crops in for two new LongReach wheat varieties, available in 2027.

Hurdle is a widely adapted, quick-mid maturity APW awnless wheat delivering Scepter-level yield. Its unique awnless trait in a main season Scepter background gives growers flexibility to switch from grain to hay strategically in Spring when frost, heat, drought or ryegrass pressure impacts the season.

Ambush delivers high, stable yield with an elite AH grain-quality package, offering improved grain security over Sh***un and Calibre. Broadly adapted across Southern Australia, it combines dependable top-end performance with a step up in Stripe Rust (MSS) protection over Sh***un and Scepter (S) – making it the confident next step for Scepter growers.

A highly valued soil health species, Freyr Sunn H**p fixes nitrogen, build organic matter and is a high protein forage option.

A tropical legume adapted to a wide range of soil and environmental conditions with very quick growth in favourable conditions.

Originating in India, recent popular use around the world has expanded rapidly and Sunn H**p is widely used in cover cropping, grazing and forage production. Crops can be grazed through to flowering and when planted into warm soils with good moisture, biomass production can be very fast. Green and brown manuring are options before incorporate biomass back into the soil.

Grown as a straight variety or in a seed blend, Freyr Sunn H**p will take summer heat and moisture and use it to improve your soil.
