They talk about reducing carbon footprints and being sustainable. How are you improving your sustainability when you are bringing fruit from QLd to NSW?
Consumers need to buy local, don't get your fruit and beef from big retailers, go to local grocery or farmers market's.
Yes, it may be more expensive, but this way you guarantee keeping food production in Australia and not having big global conglomerates controlling our food supply.
Vote with your feet folks, keep small farms operational. Don't cave into the big guys and their spiel, is mostly empty promises.
