This Saturday, we’re throwing a little party for Piedmont. 🇮🇹🍷

The Annual FESTA DEL BAROLO Tasting returns to Prince W**e Store — and we’re bringing together Barolo, Barbaresco and some of Piemonte’s other great w**es for two hours of serious Italian drinking.

If you love Barolo, you really shouldn’t miss this. W**es from producers including Vajra, Brezza, Oddero, Conterno Fantino, Elvio Cogno and Guido Porro.

We’re absolutely thrilled to offer the stunning 2025 releases from Tillie J - aka Natillie Johnston - one of the country’s most exciting w**emakers.

Natillie is a brilliant viticulturist and w**emaker with an incredible pedigree, having honed her craft at:

ONCE IN A LIFETIME - An Incredible Masterclass and lunch featuring every Chablis Grand Cru & 7 vIntages of Marquis d’Angerville Clos des Ducs 🇫🇷⭐️

🇫🇷 Every single Chablis grand cru from the best of the best producers.
🇫🇷 A bracket of aged Chablis from the greats.
🇫🇷 A vertical of super rare and much loved Cru Cave Clos de Ducs.
🇵🇹 A final bracket of three Vintage Ports from the great Warre Port house.

Kick off at midday with a glass of Ch*****ne and canapés. 🥂🍾
Followed by a tasting of all seven Chablis Grand Cru lieux-dits. All 2023 vintage. All the best producers. Then a blind line-up of some of the best Chablis made in recent times by the very best producers, and food matched by chef Nicky. 🍽️

Then, because we’re gonna need a glass of red by then, a rare examination of one of the most celebrated red Cru of the Cote de Beaune. Marquis d’Angerville Clos des Ducs - a lazy seven vintages!

What a day!

What an amazing opportunity. This is not a sales event, it’s purely for the joy of drinking. Looking at some of the most exciting w**es of Burgundy that aren’t the usual suspects. A truly spectacular line-up that I don’t think we’d ever be able to replicate.

To accommodate the extent of the line-up, we have opted for a Saturday “lunch”. A very long lunch.

We have gone all out on the w**es and the food. A gourmand experience with no restraints.

Potel is now an old hand in the Côte and it shows as the quality is excellent. Stylistically, if you've enjoyed the Potel w**es in the past, there is no reason that you would not enjoy either variation of the Bellene w**es as they are classic in the best sense of the term. BURGHOUND

As I reported last year, we suddenly lost Nicolas Potel, one of the great people and w**emakers of his generation. His loss reverberated around the w**e world such was his infectious personality and formidable talent.

Once the dust settled the question on everyone’s mind was whether his children – all of who work in the business – would continue on with Domaine de Bellene. They are eminently qualified, each one bringing specific skills to the business including w**emaking talent.

Thankfully, they have decided to do just that, albeit with an aim to decrease the negoce business and sell some vineyard land in the Cote Challonaise, in order to concentrate all their energies on the Domaine and in their words make: Our complete focus on the vines – everything comes from that – nothing changes.
