A couple of frogs appeared, a turtle wandered through the vineyard like it owned the place—and an echidna made a brief appearance before disappearing into the scrub (don’t worry, it’s not dead—just not a fan of the spotlight)

Meet Ivy, our new caramel alpaca who looks just like a cuddly stuffed toy with her big, glassy eyes. We have three alpacas who each bring their own personality to the estate: Bendy, Espresso, and Ivy.

It feels like summer is almost here

Watershoot pruning is complete, and the olive trees are flowering like crazy. Can feel summer slipping into the picture, but the trees have just had a drink. Fingers crossed for a good fruit set - many in the Barossa are counting on these to yield plenty of delicious oil next harvest.

Check out those eyelashes. This is Dave, one of our alpacas that keeps foxes away from our lambs. Great animals but you always have to be ready to dodge some spit if Dave doesn’t like you.
