I saw a post of a farmer's camera reel over a week. It was interesting.

Here's a snapshot into the things that I clearly thought were photo worthy 😉.

Our orchard boss Bobby has had the week off.

He has delegated some chores to his two apprentices Tilly and Charlie.

By all reports they are competent at rounding up geese and running through blocks checking for sagging irrigation lines.

I saw Higgins Storm Chasing share a satellite shot of the unusual cloud bands over Tassie today, so I went outside and looked up!

NW Tasmania really turned it on today.

We’re pretty lucky to live, work and play in a place like this.

It’s been a few weeks since we picked the last apples, and I’ve finally had time to decompress, reset and reflect on our first season.

There were plenty of challenges and lots of lessons, but three things really stood out:

1. Having a great team — both permanent and seasonal — is critical.
2. Keeping everyone informed, involved and engaged when things get tough makes a real difference.
3. Respecting each other, supporting one another and having some fun along the way makes everything better.

At the end of the day, it’s all about people (and dogs 🐾🐾😉).

A big thank you to everyone who helped us through the season. We couldn’t have done it without you

Today we are picking it.

So grateful that our amazing pickers are here today to help catch up after the rain delays.

Today we are picking my favourite rows in the whole orchard.

The fruit looks amazing and it's a block where we got most things right from pruning, thinning and irrigation.

I always come to these rows when I need to "breathe" and reset that it will all be fine in the end!
