Thank you to all those who supported us at the Australian National Field Days this year. Three big days done and dusted! It was lovely chatting with everyone and talking all things Highland. Shoutout to all those who helped with our stall and of course the stars of the show, the hairy coos. Everyone is home now and well rested.

Busy morning at the Australian National Field Days 🐮

That’s us!!! ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Can’t wait to see you all at the Field Days this week!

Representatives from the NSW Highland Cattle Breeders Group will be at the Australian National Field Days this week in Borenore (near Orange NSW) from the 22nd - 24th October.

Drop in and say hi, meet breeders, speak to committee members and come and see some beautiful highland cattle of course! A great opportunity to ask questions or learn more about this wonderful breed.

There will also be market stalls, merchandise, kids activities, fun competitions and educational talks.

We are heading to the Field Days again! Come and see the special Highland Cattle exhibit this year, there’s something for everyone including lots of great market stalls featuring all things highland! 🐮🌾🚜

There’ll be kids activities, live hot iron branding artwork demos, educational talks, super cute merchandise and of course fluffy cows! You’ll also have the opportunity to chat to breeders and see these beautiful animals up close.

What a whirlwind of a week at the Australian Highland Cattle National Show! We are still recovering but had the most amazing time, from setting up all week, entering our own cattle to running laps of the showground on a daily basis, social gatherings, formal dinners and award presentations we can’t thank everyone enough for making this show such an amazing experience!

Special thanks to my family and friends for everything they have done to make this possible (especially over the past 18mths!), to my fellow committee members, our international judge and all our exhibitors and visitors to the show!

Results still to come as well as introductions to a couple of very cute new additions to the fold who chose make their entrance during the busiest week of the year!
