So, We're doing a thing this Monday - starting at The Hidden Kitchen, myself, a few loyal (or possibly just doing it to please me) staff members, and former deputy mayor, labour candidate, and very long-term customer of The Kitchens, Sarah Race, will be walking our 'Kitchens Krawl'

Almost 14.5km, across the breadth (or is it the length?) of the Peninsula, taking in all four venues, the sights, the sounds, the fresh air, and the sore feet it generates, in one day.

We'll be doing this for us, and also for the Southern Peninsula Community Support Centre in Rosebud. They work tirelessly to support those doing it tough on the Southern Peninsula, and can use all the help they can get to tackle homelessness and rough sleeping down this way.

We connected with them a few months ago and started up our '20c Tuesdays' across the venues, where we donate 20c from every hot drink sold to their amazingly good cause.

We've got donation boxes right on our front counters, so please dig deep the next time you're in and pop in what you can to show some support.

Also, the more the merrier come Monday, so if you're up for a challenge, a bit of fresh air, or maybe a sore foot or two, we'd love to have you join us. Send us a DM, and let us know to expect you :)

We'll be heading off at 7am from The Hidden Kitchen, 77a Mathis Avenue, Tootgarook.

Otherwise, if you're not so much of a walker, you can hop in the car, visit the four venues in a week for a coffee and a bite to eat, and then get 20% off your fifth visit

✨ WHO ARE WE? ✨

If you’ve stumbled across us lately from a random story, liked what you saw and thought “hang on… who are these people?” — let us introduce ourselves. 👋

The Kitchens is made up of 4 venues, and would you believe they’re ALL in the same postcode — 3941. 🤯

Each one has its own personality, its own vibe and something a little different to offer. We like to keep things interesting… for you AND for us.

And here at St Andrews Kitchen, we’re one of the youngest
of the family — just over 3 years old. 🥹
We have BIG plans for this little corner of St Andrews Beach, but we’re taking our time, doing things properly and carefully bringing each new idea to life.

Our latest adventure? 🍷 We got our liquor licence!

Because coffee is great.
Brunch is great.
Our pies are bloody excellent.
But have you ever sat on a sunny deck with a glass of red and a plate of things to pick at?

Exactly.
That’s where we’re heading.

We’re building out a tapas-style sharing menu to go alongside the drinks menu — little plates, interesting flavours, Peninsula goodies and things you might not find at every other bloody café.

We’ve also extended our weekend hours, because the sun is staying out longer and quite frankly, you’ve got nowhere better to be.

So come down.
