Dear friends,

Claire and I hope that 2025 has been kind to you so far. It’s certainly been a different year for us!

WE HAVE SOME BIG NEWS. Last December 2024 we handed over custodianship of Lance’s Vineyard and Winery to new owners. The vineyard, winery, David and Cathy Lance, Claire and I were all in perfect health and spirits, but it was unanimously time for a change.

In anticipation of this transfer, we sold the fruit from Lance’s Vineyard in 2024, and the 2025 harvest was under the new ownership. Making the 2023 vintage the last of Punch from this incredible site. While Claire and I have retained our Punch name, we are currently taking a hiatus from winemaking.

If you have visited our webshop lately, you will have seen that all of our wines are sold out. This is true for all vintages.

However we will soon be rationalising our limited museum stocks, and releasing a small number of mixed packs of perfectly cellared Punch and Friends of Punch wines. If you’re on our mailing list we’ll be emailing you details on these shortly.

Claire and I sincerely thank all of you for your treasured support of us and our wines, over 20 years of Punch. And some of you for even longer supporting David and Cathy’s Diamond Valley wines! It has been a gift to farm this special vineyard, guide the harvest into bottle, and share them with you wonderful people.
