Gowerville Holsteins

Gowerville Holsteins Gowerville Holsteins was established by Perc Goodfellow and Sons (Bill and Roy) in 1927, in Preston, Vic.

Around this time Gowerville attend the Royal Melbourne show, and continues to exhibit at the Royal Melbourne show to this day. They won a number of Champions with both Holstein's and Guernsey's. Gowerville herd was the top production herd in the state for four years. Gowerville is now run by Neil Goodfellow (Bill's Son) where two farms are run in Northern Victoria. The herd size is 100 with a mix

of holsteins, jerseys and brown swiss. Gowerville is also run a long side with Neil's sister, Loris (Bulngower holstein), and his two daughters; Chloe (Gower Park Holsteins and Jerseys) and Kira(Kiraville Holsteins and Brown Swiss)

It's been a long time between outings. Preparations are in full swing for our team of Dorothy's who will be stepping out at the Winter Fair or in the Spring.

Excited to see the 2020 results for the Northern Sub Branch in the Semex-Holstein Australia Virtual Spectacular. Our results were missed from Facebook but almost two years later we are excited to share all three of our entries placed. Fantastic achievement to have our Two, Two Years Olds place first and second (one going on to be reserve in region) from a herd of 40 comprising of a 50/50 mix of Jersey's and Holstein's.
