Just a little note from Granite Belt Brewery. 🍺
We don’t always get everything perfect—sometimes orders get mixed up, meals get missed, or service takes a bit longer than it should. We’re only human, and mistakes happen.
When they do, we own it, say sorry, fix it, and learn from it. We’re always open to feedback, whether it’s good or not so good.
But there’s one thing we won’t accept: abuse towards our staff.
Recently, some team members, including younger staff, have been spoken to in an offensive and degrading way over simple service mistakes. That’s not okay.
You’re absolutely entitled to be disappointed, to let us know, and to ask for things to be fixed. What you’re not entitled to is verbally abusing staff.
Hospitality can be tough, and a lot of our younger team are still learning and building confidence. We’ll train them, support them, and hold them accountable—but we’ll also back them when lines are crossed.
So if something’s not right, please just let us know or ask for a manager so we can sort it out. Just remember there’s a real person on the other side of the counter.
Respect goes both ways.
We don’t expect perfection, but we do expect kindness and basic decency.
