Woweee, what a weekend! 🍂🐰
Over Easter we served approximately 600 guests for lunch and dinner, and poured many (many!) more beers!🍻
We know it's not easy out there right now given the cost of living and fuel, so the fact you still chose to spend your long weekend with us and support the small businesses of Stanthorpe is greatly appreciated.
A little behind-the-scenes look... a quiet dining room isn't always what it seems. We're often fully booked with a big lunch or dinner service about to kick off, with a small but dedicated team getting prepared for the impending controlled chaos... all while cooking every single dish fresh to order. That means on our busiest days, wait times can be a little longer than expected, and we appreciate your patience more than you know. We're not a fast food chain, and we're a small business that cares about every plate that crosses the pass and every beer that we pour.
To the 99% who treat our staff with kindness and respect - thank you. It puts a smile on our faces, and it makes all the difference on a busy day. Our staff work incredibly hard, and they deserve to love coming to work. Your support keeps us going every single day.
If something isn't quite right during your visit, or the wait feels too long, or you're wondering why you can't get a booking... please just chat to us. We acknowledge that we don't always get it right, but we'd much rather fix it on the spot than hear about it later (when it's then too late to fix!). We strive for our guests to have a great experience, and we'll always do our best to make sure you have one.
