Our seven Stockinpiggle pigs have travelled from Cootamundra to Adelaide for the Royal Adelaide Show—and they are ready for the Stud Pig Sale! 🐖

Thanks to our mates Eli & Narkia for delivering them and to our friends from WA Linton, Kerry, Geordy & Sarah for preparing them for the ring & the sale all on top of looking after their own show team of Berkshires! We can’t wait to be back next year.

Raised Outdoors, Selected for Performance

Every Stockinpiggle pig is born and raised outdoors on pasture. For generations, our lines of pigs have been farrowed outdoors in the mobile huts we build and use on our farm.

These pigs have come directly from their home paddocks to the show. They have not been raised or prepared in sheds specifically for the show ring. What you see in Adelaide is a genuine representation of pigs bred and raised in our outdoor farming system.

Our sale pigs have been selected from a sizeable herd raised outdoors for nearly 10 years. We select breeding stock that has performed in paddock conditions, with a focus on:

* Sound structure
* Good growth
* Calm temperament
* The ability to thrive outdoors
* Consistently high meat quality

Award-Winning Pork Quality

Pork quality remains central to our breeding decisions. This focus has helped our pork win gold at the Sydney Royal Fine Food Awards three years in a row.

We are incredibly proud to be the only outdoor pig farm in Australia to have achieved this.

* Stockinpiggle Star R4158 — joined to Stockinpiggle Herman R2360, scanned and confirmed in pig, and expected to farrow around 4 December 2026.

Buyers will have the opportunity to purchase two quality Berkshire females: one confirmed in pig and another recently joined.

Stockinpiggle Farm Produce in Cootamundra is closed today for a pretty important farm event — our wedding! 💍

After 10 years together, Sam and I are finally making it official right here on the farm, surrounded by our family and friends.

We’ll be back to normal next week, although there will be one fairly major change around Stockinpiggle… Sam will officially be Mrs Stockinpiggle!

Thank you for your understanding and for all the lovely well wishes. Now it’s time for us to get married! 🤍

A quick heads-up that our butchery hours are a little different this week.

We’ll be open from 1pm to 5:30pm this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Saturday will be business as usual from 9am to 1pm.

Our online store is open 24/7, so you can place your order anytime. Choose local delivery, delivery to one of our regular delivery areas, or click and collect from the butchery.

There’ll still be plenty of our pasture-raised pork, grass-fed beef, lamb and chicken available throughout the week.
