The dust has well and truly settled after our little celebration a few weeks ago… and what a night it was. The boss turned 40 (though let’s be clear, he’s only the boss of the cattle… the sheep still aren’t taking orders 😂) and honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect.
We set out to keep everything as local as possible - from the lamb (Leebrooke fresh), to the salads, the furniture, and even the butcher and it made the whole night feel that extra bit special.
A massive shoutout to Crooked Lane Flower Farm & Events, their furniture hire is next level. Absolutely stunning pieces that completely brought our vision to life. From the stunning western couches, to the barrels and stools, right through to the festoon lights, every detail was perfect. It didn’t just look good… it felt incredible. Could not recommend them more!
Gippsland Party Hire sorted us out with the slushy machine. Legends to deal with and an absolute hit on the night.
Eazy Eats in Sale took care of the salads, and Carol was nothing short of amazing. She just got it, knew exactly what we needed, kept it honest, and everything tasted incredible.
And the lamb was our own, b***d and rolled by On Farm Butchers. If you’re after attention to detail, quality, and genuine service, Chris is your guy.
It really does take a village and we’re pretty lucky with ours 🤍
Happy 40th, Matty. We adore you and all your hard work. You’re a man to be admired, and we’re all better for having you in our lives… the sheep will come around eventually 🐑😉
