The recent rains have been very welcome at Metala. For the first time in around 10 years, our old vines have had a good, deep drink, the paddocks are soaking it up, and - perhaps best of all - the swamp is full again.
Every evening the farm comes alive with the sound of frogs and other wildlife making the most of the water 🐸
After so many dry years, there's something pretty special about standing among these old vines with water underfoot and hearing the swamp alive again.
