Chalani Australian Stock Horses QUALITY IS OUR STRENGTH & YOUR PROTECTION Contact us via our website: http://www.chalani.net All horses are named after a theme from the mare line.

Breeding mostly Heritage lines, based on our Hall of Fame foundation sire, Rannock. We use mostly Polo bloodlines as these are a little taller, faster with stamina which suits the style/quality of horse we like. Rannock was bred in the Hunter Valley by RT McKay, Tinagroo, breeder of the famous Panzer, to whom Rannock is in**ed. Our lines go back to three original Chalani mares whose descendants continue in the stud today.

From our EOI list of people, we have taken a deposit on her. Certainly won't get lost in a crowd with this one!

Our 11th and final foal for the season is an attractive bay c**t by Chalani Galaxy from Effex Conversation (Maggie). He is only little compared to our others (mare is 15h) so likely to be galloway sized. He will be available.

I have a few name ideas in mind, but since our followers seem to like thinking up names too, pop your suggestions in the comments. "Conversation" is the theme.

Chalani Pocket Rocket did a couple of very calm and creditable tests at yesterday's Spring Champs, for a first and third in her level, for Mel Johnson. A very happy Mel came out of both tests!

Could you follow the steps well enough to try this yourself?
Was there any point where your attention drifted?
Would you like me to do more of these types of video?

How do you halter a very young foal and teach it to lead, without a...

(Sire Chalani Galaxy x dam Chalani Skywalk)
This fellow is probably the tallest yearling we have bred - mature 16.2h maybe? He just grows on and holds his condition with no special feeding or care different from any of our others. He just looks good all the time. Quite remarkable really.

Here he is learning to lead off his sire, Galaxy. He takes it all in his stride. A very gentle c**t, with a lovely temperament.
