Share Our Shores – Exhibition by Zephyr Jones 🌊

Come and experience the incredible world of shorebirds through this inspiring exhibition by 14 year old Elliston artist, Zephyr Jones.

Over the past three years, Zephyr has been actively monitoring and studying migratory and beach nesting shorebirds on the Eyre Peninsula. Through “Share Our Shores”, she brings their stories to life—combining beautiful artwork with powerful insights into their extraordinary journeys from Australia to the Arctic, and the challenges they face along the way.

Shorebirds are among the most endangered birds in the world, impacted by coastal development, climate change and human disturbance. This exhibition is a celebration of these remarkable, resilient travellers and a call for us all to play a part in protecting them.

Created over two years as part of Zephyr’s home schooling journey, this exhibition reflects a deep passion for wildlife and a genuine commitment to conservation.

Come along, be inspired, and discover how simple actions can help protect these incredible birds.

The Streaky Bay Food Van Precinct is back again this summer at the Streaky Bay Foreshore (opposite the Streaky Bay Hotel car park, on Alfred Terrace).

You’ll find a delicious mix of local favourites, including:
✨ Basil & Belle – coffee & drinks, 7 days a week (8am–12pm)
✨ Henry’s Kitchen – breakfast on some days, plus lunch & dinner
✨ FishFix – lunch & dinner
